One Step Closer: Building, Printing, and Getting Ready

This week, we focused on finalizing the physical model of Sticky. After weeks of development and testing, we finally got to work on putting everything together. We reprinted several parts, fine-tuned the structure, and worked hard to make sure the mechanism functioned properly, the lights, the button, the lock-and-release system, and all the small details that make the interaction feel right.

We also tested the overall look and feel of the lamp, making sure everything was clear, stable, and visually appealing. It was exciting to see things start to come together and feel more complete, like something real, not just a prototype in progress. For the first time, the object really looked and behaved the way we imagined it months ago.

This week also marked the beginning of work on our final video. We started filming shots of the product in use, capturing close-ups and interactions to help tell the story behind Sticky. Everything felt intense, but full of momentum and team spirit. At that point, we thought we were heading into the final stretch exactly as planned.
