Simplifying the Vision: Focusing on MVP and Emotional Impact

Last week of the semester! We finally reviled "Sticky".

During the semester break, we worked on refining our product idea After the feedback we received during our final presentation, we realized that our biggest task was to narrow things down and define exactly what we wanted to achieve. We needed to simplify it while focusing on our product's MVP.

We spent time thinking about the essence of our product — what we want it to do, how we want it to look, and what values are most important to us.

We conducted more interviews and validation with children and better understood our product and what it should look like.

Our main goal became clear: we want to build a lamp that encourages persistence. A simple, beautiful object that helps children see their own progress. By pressing a button when they practice a hobby, a colored light will turn on to indicate their effort. Over time, the lights will accumulate and light up a larger lamp — a visible reward for staying committed.

We realized we didn’t need to overcomplicate things. What matters most is that the interaction is meaningful and intuitive for the child. We also discussed the emotional aspect, how the lamp could make children feel proud, motivated, and connected to their own progress. This process helped us shift from a vague concept to a much clearer, more focused direction.
