Generating Ideas: From Values to Customer Journeys

This week, we focused on expanding our creative horizons. We began with an intensive brainstorming session in class, generating a range of ideas that were doable and not that could address the specific challenges identified in our previous research.

To ground our concepts in reality, we explored ideas and inspirations from the market, analyzing existing products to understand their strengths and how they align with customer expectations. This exercise sparked new ideas and helped us identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.

In parallel, we discussed the core values we want our product to embody from learning and analyzing different products on the market. These values are critical to ensuring our solution is functional and resonates emotionally with users.

Lastly, we worked on mapping out the timeline of our customer’s day, focusing on key moments where our product could make a meaningful impact both for the kids and their parents. This helped us visualize the user journey and identify where our solution can seamlessly integrate into their routines.

With a clearer understanding of the market, our product values, and the customer journey, we are ready to move forward with refining our ideas and prototyping potential solutions.
