From Idea to Implementation: Exploring Hardware Possibilities

Semester 2 - Here we go!

After our first class of the new semester and presenting our refined idea, it was time to explore deeper into t

he technological side of the project.​

We needed to understand what is possible in terms of hardware: what kind of lights could we use? How would the buttons work? What shape should the lamp take?​

We started researching existing products to see what’s out there — especially products that use light and color. This helped us better understand the potential and limitations of our own design.​

We also began exploring simple circuits, LED configurations, and types of buttons that would be appropriate for children to use independently. This helped us balance between aesthetics, function, and safety.

This phase felt exciting and a little intimidating — it’s one thing to dream up a product, and another to start figuring out how to build it. But we’re motivated, and this research gave us even more confidence to keep going.
