Bringing It All Together: Mechanism, Design, and Next Steps
This week, we made progress in shaping our product's final structure by focusing on its physical form and internal mechanism. Our main goal was to move closer to a working prototype that integrates design and function seamlessly.
Together with Aviad, we worked on developing a new version of the lamp, now including a built-in button designed to be both intuitive and engaging for children. At the same time, we worked with Tzvika on developing an engine that will control the button's popping motion and locking system, a key interactive element of our concept.
Looking ahead, we still need to merge both parts: to develop with Aviad a new model containing the engine and button mechanism, combined with the LED lights to be more accurate and visible through the lamp.
Creating a unified prototype will allow us to move on to the next phase: testing the object’s functionality with users and gaining valuable feedback.
Each iteration brings us closer to a solution that not only supports motivation and persistence in hobbies but also sparks curiosity and play.
